Emily hollen 8th grade at north. On the first day of interning I just introduced myself. They asked questions and were excited to have me there. As the week progressed they asked me other questions and weren't scared to ask me for help. They have been really sweet thus far. I have two English classes and one science class while I'm there. I love both of my teachers. Mrs.Santarelli teaches English and coach Travis teaches science.
Well i hope you do well as an 8th grade intern, especially with the 3 classes you have while being there.i think It is great that you like both of your teachers.
Jessi Schattle 2nd grade at MST On my first day I walked in to the classroom and found out that I have about 10 of my students from last year so I was really excited. I also have a bunch of students who recognize me from last year and seem really excited to have me in their classroom. I just introduced myself on the first day and observed all of the kids. Mrs. Claborn has been so helpful and willing to help me and I am very excited for this year
Knowing the a lot of your former students will really make the year easier since you know their personalities and abilities. You will be able to help your teacher as well!! Have fun!!
Leslie Perez pre-k at spring valley On the first day of school, i expected to see kids crying. And thats exactly what was going on when i got there. When i got there, mrs. Beltran introduced me to them. They looked at me with excitement. After all the crying, some of them approached me. They were so friendly! Im really looking forward to this year.
Miriam Castillo 4th grade spring valley elementary On my 1st day I already knew some of my students and they were so excited to se me. Elizabeth Celis 2nd grade Dover Elementary On my fist day of school i was presented to my teacher Ms.Garcia, and to my students. They introduced themselves to me. Most of the time i just sat back and observed how she was giving them instructions about her class. I hope i have good students again.
Yeah, i did had perfect students last year. Well i see how she handles them. She changes their colors...but i dont want to mess with their colors. That is "sacred"
So i have started seeing the messages, and i made a mistake. im teaching first, not second grade. last year i taught second grade. Sorry, guess i clicked the wrong #. My bad.

Well it seemed like you had a good first day as an intern. Your teacher really seems to appreciate everything you do for her, and i think that's cool. Hopefully you also have good students this year also
My first day of school was on Wednesday! My cooperating teacher, Mrs. Fickling, introduced me to my new second grade students and I got to tell them about myself. I did my observations and learned how she checked folders. I also learned that one of my students has the name as my best friend! I think that this year is going to be crazy fun for me and I'm so excited to grow and learn with my kids for the future :)
Well im very excited for you! last year i taught second grade and i loved it. Its cool that you have a student with the same name as your best friend. Good luck this year!
Adam Speer Moss Haven Elementary PE and Music Intern On my first day at Moss Haven I was really excited to be working with both Coach Barnes in PE and Mrs. Nagel in Music. On the first day I was interning for Mrs. Nagel and saw some of my kids that I had interned for last year. The kids were really excited to see me. So excited that they started giving me high fives. Also some of the kids on they first day were doing some activities. Some of the classes if they were lucky got to play a fun type of musical game. By the way I work mostly with third and fourth graders.
Well i think its awesome that you are interning for PE and Music. I bet that that's alot of students you have to deal with. Sounds like fun though!!! I hope that you have a great year with your kids
